Sangoma A101 PCI is a low-cost single-port T1/E1/J1 card with telecom-grade echo cancellation.
Provides optimal telephony support for small systems.
The Sangoma A101 PCI card is part of the Sangoma AFT family of cards. These cards use a high-performance PCI interface that delivers the highest performance in mission-critical systems worldwide.
The board supports full-duplex data transmission at a speed of up to 2048 kbps or up to 30 telephone calls over a single E1 channel. Sangoma boards allow you to use new hardware and software features as soon as they appear. The Sangoma A101 board, like all other boards in the Sangoma AFT family, supports firmware updates in the field.

The Sangoma A101D and Sangoma A101DE cards, with Octasic® DSP hardware and certified echo cancellation algorithms, provide telco-grade echo cancellation and improved audio quality in public and private telephone systems.

Technical characteristics of the Sangoma A101 board:

One T1/E1 port with optimal PCI interface provides high performance for telephony and data applications.
Supported software includes Asterisk®, Yate™, CallWeaver™ and FreeSwitch™ PBX/IVR software, as well as other open and closed source PBX, switch, IVR and VoIP gateway applications.
All Sangoma AFT family boards use the same base board with PCI or PCI Express interface. It is fully compatible with all commercially available motherboards and provides correct standard PCI interrupt mapping without additional manual debugging.

Dimensions: 2U form factor: 120mm x 55mm for use in a limited number of cases.

The kit includes quality tested RJ45 cables and short 2U mounting clips for installation in 2U rack-mount servers.

Intelligent hardware: Ability to load programmable FPGA code with multiple operating modes. Ability to add new voice and data features as they become available.
Automatic voltage detection and compatibility with 5V and 3.3V PCI power buses.
Channel decoding: HDB3, AMI, B8ZS.
Frame sync: CRC-4, non-CRC4, ESF, SF, D4. Japanese J1 standard is also supported.

Power supply: peak current 800 mA, working current 300 mA, voltage +3.3 V or 5 V.

The 32-bit DMA host bus uses the PCI interface to exchange data at 132 MB/s with minimal load on the system processor.
Direct access of the call buffer to memory ensures minimal system overhead and ensures data integrity in large systems.
CAS and ISDN PRI signaling systems are supported.
T1/E1 and fractional T1/E1 channels, multi-channel HDLC protocols on each line in mixed telephony applications supporting data transmission and time division multiplexing.
Channel-optimized direct memory access streams and hardware-based HDLC protocol processing reduce the load on the system processor.
Raw bitstream interfaces can be used to support non-standard line protocols, such as single or binary synchronous data transfer protocols without byte mapping.
The WANPIPE® routing unit is completely independent of the TDM telephony application, ensuring the highest system reliability.
The WANPIPE® unit supports certified, field-tested and highly reliable Frame Relay, PPP, HDLC and X.25 protocols.


T1/E1 Line Status Alerts
• RED: Red signal of telecommunication line.
• OOF: frame loss.
• LOS: Loss of signal.
• AIS: Alert signal.
• RAI: Remote Alarm (Yellow).
