The convenience of a cordless phone when using Skype! Now you don’t have to sit at your computer to talk to your friends. The Linksys cordless Internet telephony kit includes a telephone with a charger and a base station with a USB interface that connects to your computer. With Skype installed on your PC (included in the package), your contact list is displayed on the handset’s backlit display. To make a call, simply select the subscriber’s name from the menu and press the button.

Of course, the phone supports outgoing SkypeOut calls, as well as working with the Skype contact list. When you receive an incoming Skype or SkypeIn call, you hear a sound signal and the caller ID is displayed on the screen. The phone also supports call waiting and the paid Skype voicemail service. During a call, you can press the mute button to maintain privacy or turn on the speakerphone so that others can join the conversation. In addition, the phone can be used for internal communication - each base station supports four handsets.
