Grandstream GXV3500

Grandstream GXV3500 is a video gateway with video and audio encoding/decoding capabilities and an employee notification system. The combined 3-in-1 device provides video stream encoding from analog cameras in H.264, video stream decoding for display on a monitor/TV, and an employee notification system with both voice and image transmission. Interfaces for connecting a microphone, signal sensors, TV and an audio system allow using the device as a notification server with IP phones and IP video phones. The GXV3500 can be controlled using the free GSurf software, HTTP API and the ONVIF standard are supported.

In addition, it is relevant in public places, such as shopping centers and passenger transport hubs, where in addition to the actual notification, it can play advertising, entertain people, and help create a comfortable living environment for them. To use the device as a voice notification system, the user can pronounce the necessary text into an external microphone or transmit it through an IP phone operating on the SIP protocol. His speech will pass through the amplifier built into the system and sound through an external speaker. The system will also allow him to play music or another recording. Video notification is performed from a video phone, also using the SIP protocol. It can be a video message, a commercial, etc. The broadcast video material can be displayed on a TV set located at any distance from the device. The third function of the new Grandstream product is decoding the video signal, which is necessary for its output to a monitor or TV set.

Operating as a single-channel IP video server, this model receives a video signal from an analog camera and converts it to H.264 format. It supports D1 resolution and speed up to 30 frames/sec, which allows you to receive high-quality video images with rich information content. The device has an input for connecting a microphone and an audio output. It performs bidirectional audio transmission via SIP and VoIP protocols. The same protocols are used to transmit video images to mobile devices and video phones. There is a serial port for controlling PTZ cameras, alarm input and output, a buffer for recording images before and after an event of a certain type. An important feature of the new device is its support for ONVIF specifications, which allows it to be used in many video surveillance systems made up of products from different manufacturers. To control the model, you can use GSurf software, which is a product of Grandstream and provides control of 36 cameras. The product supports PoE technology, motion detection, sending notifications to a client PC. Up to 10 users can simultaneously view video from the device.
