DrayTek Vigor2920Vn is a 802.11n dual-WAN broadband Wi-Fi router with firewall, security, and VPN support, with xDSL/cable/VDSL2/Ethernet FTTx connectivity. Gigabit WAN port and 4 Gigabit LAN ports facilitate the solution of common business communication tasks for remote parties when exchanging large amounts of information over high-speed communication channels. The presence of basic router functions, VPN, security functions, and two WAN ports provides a huge advantage for professional users and small offices. The 10/100 Base-Tx port can work as a backup or primary WAN. In the event that the primary channel is temporarily down, the backup WAN will redirect Internet traffic through an additional channel. Its convenient Web-based user interface (WUI) offers a user-friendly configuration menu and allows you to make specific settings to meet various user needs. WUI also provides network-level QoS (Quality of Service), session management/bandwidth management via NAT to help users manage and allocate network bandwidth. Vigor2920Vn provides a robust network-level firewall and content protection at the same time. DoS/DDoS attack protection and URL/Web content filtering help strengthen security inside and outside the network. CSM (Content Security Management) helps you monitor and manage IM and P2P applications more effectively. What’s more, CSM keeps the office network available and secure. For remote workers and inter-office connections, Vigor2920Vn supports up to 32 simultaneous IPSec/PPTP/L2TP VPN tunnels. It has a dedicated VPN coprocessor, AES/DES/3DES hardware encryption and SHA-1/MD5 hardware key. The 3.5G USB modem can act as a backup communication channel when the fixed line connection is lost. Vigor2920Vn provides FTP access for uploading/downloading files from a local network or via the Internet. DrayTek Vigor 2920Vn is dressed in a black case with barely noticeable ventilation holes. The case is made of plastic, it is durable and does not creak to the touch. On the back there are three connectors for connecting Wi-Fi antennas, a power connector and a switch. The voice gateway functions open up the possibility of routing calls, dividing them into internal and long-distance, and allow you to determine a particular telephone line for making a call using one of twenty dialing patterns. Built-in Wireless Distribution System (WDS) technology will expand the coverage area of the wireless network and allow you to create up to four hidden or open SSIDs, scan the area, show a graph and determine the optimal frequency range for connecting to a wireless network using one or several protocols at once: 11b, 11g or 11n. In short, Vigor2920Vn will allow you to easily manage all the rich functionality you need.
