The Polycom CX5500 is a unified conferencing station that delivers the ultimate in video collaboration and HD voice communications in Microsoft Lync voice-only environments, with 360-degree panoramic views in 1080p resolution and clear, natural sound.

Polycom CX5500 combines the powerful collaboration tools of Microsoft Lync, namely audio, video and content sharing, and provides a unique 360-degree panoramic view of the entire room. In addition, the advanced technology used allows you to transmit a second HD video image of the current speaker at 1080p resolution with automatic focus on the speaker, tracking the progress of the discussion and providing full interactive communication. Legendary Polycom HD Voice technology and a microphone range of 6 meters allows you to reproduce audio with a dynamic range of 160 to 22,000 Hz, making meetings more productive, since participants can clearly hear each other. If necessary, this range can be increased using additional remote microphones. The CX5500 system can be used to make voice-only calls. The main difference between the new Polycom CX5500 system and the previous Polycom CX5100 model is the ability to work in IP conference phone mode. This capability improves the convenience and efficiency of collaboration and accelerates the return on investment in the enterprise IT infrastructure.
