LifeSize Icon 400 is a compact video communication system that combines a camera and a codec in one form factor with low requirements for Internet communication channels (1.1 Mbit/s), supports 720p or 1080p video modes, the kit includes a central processor with a built-in camera with a 3x buzzer and a remote desktop omnidirectional microphone.

LifeSize Icon 400 is a compact video conferencing system ideal for small conference rooms and meeting rooms. Like all LifeSize Icon products, Icon 400 is designed with ease of use, flexibility and value for customers in mind. It is a budget option for organizing video conferencing in small workgroups. At the same time, the quality of conferences is maintained at the level typical of complex enterprise systems. LifeSize Icon 400 provides transmission of images with HD resolution and crystal clear sound, which erases the distance between video conference participants and provides the effect of full immersion in a live communication environment for exchanging knowledge and ideas, uniting people around the world in working on common tasks. Like all LifeSize Icon models, the new product supports the Lifesize Cloud service, allowing you to organize a video call and connect all the necessary people to it. Installing the appropriate application will allow you to participate in conferences using almost any mobile device. Lifesize Cloud allows you to seamlessly add subscribers with a single click on the remote control. In addition, the service provides a number of features, such as a corporate contact directory with a search function (up to 100,000 entries), a conference scheduler, recording and broadcasting streaming video, secure bypass of NAT and firewalls, and others. LifeSize Icon 400 is designed for maximum flexibility and ease of use. The shortcuts on the on-screen menu are very rationally placed and allow you to easily make a call and end any function. Using contacts added to the Favorites section, the user can start a video call almost instantly. The presence of a remote control makes the work even more convenient. The solution provides video transmission in H.264, H.263 and H.263+ formats with a resolution of up to 1080p with progressive scanning up to 30 frames. In total, the system supports more than 200 different resolutions. The model can connect via SIP and H.323 protocols, operating in the network bandwidth range of 128 kbps - 6.0 Mbps. Adaptive Motion Control (AMC) with Forward Error Correction (FEC) ensures excellent video image quality at any connection quality. Icon 400 is compatible with any HD displays with HDMI connection that support 720p or 1080p video modes. The solution is equipped with an HD 1080p30 Zoom Camera with a wide-angle lens with a viewing angle of 70 degrees. The camera allows for three-fold optical and two-fold digital zoom, is equipped with autofocus and automatic gain control. 10 preset configurations allow you to quickly configure the camera in accordance with the environment and lighting of the room. The model also supports the Lifesize Phone 2-nd Generation conference phone with a touch screen and a Digital MicPod digital microphone. The new product is a compact video conferencing system that combines a camera and codec in a single form factor.
