CyberData VoIP Paging Gateway - CyberData's multicast gateway provides cost-effective access from analog telephone systems to VoIP paging systems.
CyberData's Multicast Gateway provides cost-effective access from analog telephone systems to VoIP public address systems.
The FXS interface of the multicast gateway is designed to use the FXO port of analog PBX systems, or to use non-SIP based IP telephone systems to support VoIP paging systems for CyberData speakers. An optional converter module can be used to obtain analog audio signals directly from line level audio sources.
The web-based graphical user interface allows the user to set up subsets of group addresses for the paging speaker and to enable the Dial Tone Multi-frequency (DTMF) capability when using a zoned paging system. The multicast gateway allows the configuration of up to 99 different zones when using CyberData VoIP paging systems.
The gateway is powered by PoE 802.3af – no external power source is required.
