VoIP-GSM gateway Openvox VS-GW1600V2-4G is a new product for enterprises of any scale, which is characterized by a modular design. This means that experienced users can create unique solutions using GSM, FXO and FXS modules.
The "brain" of the gateway is a quad-core processor paired with 1 GB of RAM. Such a bundle is capable of handling six hundred simultaneous calls and a thousand users. The equipment supports all modern codecs and protocols: G.711A, G.711U, G.722, G.726, G.729, GSM & SIP. The device can simultaneously work with 4 GSM channels (you can increase the figure to 20). It is important to note the possibility of hot swapping of SIM cards and modules.
The gateway supports all our frequencies where voice communications are deployed (850/900/1800/1900 MHz). The chassis has forty FXS and FXO ports, several LAN ports, five module slots and one USB connector.
It is also worth highlighting the user-friendly interface, which is based on the open source Asterisk software. Incoming SMS are automatically converted into email by the program, and the gateway also features advanced SIP functionality.
