OpenVox, a world leader in efficient telephony solutions based on Asterisk software, has announced the release of a 2-unit high-density VoIP-GSM gateway supporting up to 44 GSM channels - OpenVox VS-GW2120. OpenVox VoxStack series hybrid gateways are devices designed for both medium and small offices and large companies. With a convenient graphical web interface and a unique modular design, users can not only easily configure their gateway, but also scale the device, expanding it as the company grows. Experienced users are offered the opportunity to develop their own solutions based on AMI (Asterisk Management Interface). The modular design of the VS-GW2120 series gateways provides filling the base chassis with up to 11 GSM modules - up to 44 GSM channels. Each module has an independent operating system on the Asterisk base and supports an open API - Asterisk Management Interface (AMI). A wide range of codecs - G.711A, G.711U, G.729, G.722, G.723, G.726 and GSM - allows for high-quality interfacing of VoIP and GSM networks, which in turn significantly reduces voice communication costs. The unique modular design, with the ability to "hot" replace SIM cards and modules, creates maximum convenience during operation. You can quickly change the configuration of the entire device and the cards used, without additional installation work. VoxStack GSM-VoIP gateways allow receiving and sending SMS in both single and group modes. Received SMS can be sent to an e-mail address. The gateways are fully compatible with the main types of IP-PBX - Elastix, trixbox, 3CX, FreeSWITCH sip server.
