Juniper NS-ISG-2000

The Juniper NS-ISG-2000 is a basic firewall/VPN tunneling system with up to 4 Gbps of firewall throughput and up to 2 Gbps of optional integrated intrusion detection and prevention.

ISG series gateways are a family of universal products that combine the functions of a firewall, router, anti-virus scanner, anti-spam and WEB filters, and a bandwidth manager. They are an ideal solution for protecting the information infrastructure of corporate customers, telecom operators, and data centers. ISG series firewall and VPN tunneling devices have additional functions such as intrusion detection and prevention (IPS), spam protection, WEB filtering, and are capable of redirecting traffic to external anti-virus scanners via the ICAP protocol. The Juniper NS-ISG-2000 gateway is a fully integrated system for solving firewall, VPN tunneling, and intrusion prevention problems. Its distinctive features include support for multi-gigabit speeds, modular architecture, and extensive virtualization capabilities. The throughput of the firewall gateway is up to 4 Gbps, and up to 2 Gbps for the optional integrated intrusion detection and prevention function. The basic firewall/VPN tunneling system supports up to 4 I/O modules and three security modules for integrated intrusion detection and prevention. The combination of multiple functions of this equipment does not entail performance limitations due to the use of high-speed general-purpose processors and specialized ASIC chips in the devices.
