The Quality of Service package implements the following capabilities:
Bandwidth management that is performed based on a specific access point, selected radio frequency band, SSID, and a separate group of clients. Moreover, fair distribution of bandwidth between users within the SSID ensures a quality connection for each of them. Use of 802.1p CoS and DSCP based on the source and destination IP address, MAC address, or Layer 4 TCP/UDP port number. Shaped Round Robin (SRR) scheduling that intelligently manages queues. In addition, WTD helps prevent these queues from overflowing. The CIR rate matching function that ensures throughput with a minimum step of 8 kbps. Limiting is provided based on the source and destination IP address, source and destination MAC address, Layer 4 TCP UDP information, or any combination of these criteria.
