The DMG1008RLMDNIW features eight digital emulation ports and 10/100 BaseT Ethernet for LAN connectivity. Digital PBX Emulation, 8 ports (Rolm)
The Dialogic® 1000 Media Gateway Series (DMG1000 gateways) enables a well-planned, phased migration to IP networks, making the gateways an intelligent solution for businesses looking to enhance their traditional PBX equipment with new VoIP access and applications. Changing between the PBX or digital telephone and Internet or WAN access, DMG1000 gateways convert native digital PBX messages into a format suitable for transmission over standard IP networks.
Features and Benefits
Suitable for small and medium businesses and easy to install, configure and maintain, compatible with many popular PBX manufacturers including Alcatel, Avaya, Ericsson, Fujitsu, Mitel, NEC, Nortel, Siemens and
Protects investments in legacy telecommunications equipment and enables controlled migration to IP technology.
Design developed and tested in the state-of-the-art Dialogic PBX laboratory and optimized for use in a corporate environment
Ideal for Enterprise Unified Messaging applications (tested and certified in Microsoft® Exchange Server UM)
Support IP load balancing and IP failover
Allows the ability for incoming (TDM to IP) calls to loop between available media and servers automatically routes calls from responsive media or proxy servers
Compatible with Dialogic ® HMP software
Provides options for customers to build extension programs on top of the gateway base and PBX functions
Configuration support via serial port, Telnet and web browser, including context-sensitive help
Easy to install, configure, customize and maintain security features include IP TLS, SRTP and HTTPS
Provides secure communications for both SIP messages over TLS, media streaming over SRTP, and the web interface over HTTPS.
DMG1000 gateways each contain 8 digital PBX emulation interfaces and a 10/100 BaseT Ethernet connection for connection to a local area network. An analog loop start block designed for voice mail and unified messaging applications is also available for connection to PBXs that do not have a corresponding digital interface. The analog loop start block supports integration using in-band signaling (DTMF or FSK) or serial protocol (SMDI, MCI, and MD-110).
The DMG1000 Gateways provide a simple, cost-effective transition to voice and data convergence for enterprises with PBXs. Changes are externally linked, offering an IP solution that works with current legacy equipment. They support SIP applications as well as T.38 fax over IP (FoIP).
Gateway unit functions include:
* Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) - Supports SIP in RFC 3261. Uses Real-Time Transport Protocol/Real-Time Control Protocol (RTP/RTCP) to transmit voice over a local or wide area network
* IP Security - Supports TLS for SIP messages, SRTP for media streaming and HTTPS for web interface
* Advanced voice processing - Supports a variety of compression algorithms, including G.711 and G.723.1, and G.729ab
* T.38 Fax from Internet Protocol (FoIP) - Emulation units transcode fax from T.30 fax protocol, support V.17, V.21, V.27, V.29 and modulation schemes to T.38 for packet network transmission
* Hot swappable - units Allows gates to be added or removed without affecting other gateway units
* Web Server Interface - Each gateway device comes with a web server interface allowing configuration and software updates via a web browser
Configurations:
DMG1000 gateways can be used to connect phones to legacy IP PBX, integrate network deployments with PBX applications, extend PBX to branch offices, and integrate a variety of voice and call processing in a corporate local or global environment. Using exclusive PBX interfaces (emulation), these media gateway devices provide exceptional capabilities for IP PBX integration to protect investments in legacy telecommunications equipment.
