Portech MV-378

Portech MV-378 is an eight-channel VoIP GSM gateway that supports SIP, Caller ID, Caller ID, Speed Dial, SMS receiving and sending, call routing from the GSM network (MOBILE → LAN) and from the local network to the GSM network (LAN->MOBILE).

Portech gateways are famous for their very affordable price and stable operation. They have a small set of functions, and this is more of an advantage than a disadvantage. The fact is that all call processing is performed on the 3CX server, and the gateway is only required to accept or transfer a call . VoIP Portech MV-378 used as a terminal device for routing incoming calls from the GSM network to VoIP operators. Portech MV-378 can be used as a device for switching IP PBX operating in the SIP (RFC2543, RFC3261) protocol with a GSM network.
VoIP Portech MV-378 compatible with IP PBX based on Asterisk, Welltone, registers on SIP Proxy servers as an end device.

All Portech gateways are absolutely identical in functionality and differ only in the number of GSM ports.
Therefore, your main task is to choose the right number of GSM ports in the gateway. It directly depends on two factors:

• number of people calling GSM simultaneously
• number of GSM operators (directions) to which you want to make calls cheaper

VoIP GSM gateways Portech have from 1 to 8 GSM ports with independent configuration. They transmit IP telephony calls (SIP protocol) to the GSM network and back. At the same time, Caller ID is correctly transmitted.
There are also HSDPA/UMTS and CDMA versions of the gateways.
The gateways support four GSM ranges 850/900/1800/1900 MHZ and are distinguished by high quality at a very affordable price .
