Digium TE420 : 4 ISDN PRI paths (4 x E1), T1, E1, J1 support, PCI-Express 3.3V slot.
The Digium TE420 card will support up to 120 channels of voice and data from several E1, T1 or J1 interfaces in the PCI Express form factor. By selecting per-port or per-card, the TE420 allows you to mix E1 and T1 with full channel synchronization. Always supporting PCIe x1, TE420 can be used in any of the available PCIe 1.0 slots: 1x, x4, x8, and x16 without worrying about power supply, voltage selection or line size.
Digium TE420 can be combined with Digium's VPMOCT128 Octasic echo canceller, Wikipedia and DSP (Digital Signal Processor). VPMOCT128 uses the G.168 algorithm, which has clearly shown itself in tests to reduce echoes within 128 ms (1024 taps) on all 120 channels with E1 and all 96 channels with T1/J1.
Digium TE420 is designed by Digium to be completely compatible with Asterisk Business Edition, AsteriskNOW and Asterisk with open source code. The TE420 supports industry standard telephony protocols, including American and European Primary Rate signaling, standard Robbed Bit, Channel Associated Signaling in addition to standard PPP, HDLC and Frame Relay data mode.
