Digium TC400B - VoIP Transcoding PCI 3.3/5.0V card for 120 G.729a or 92 mixed channels of
G.729a/G.723.1
Digium TC400B is a set that consists of a large, low-profile PCI-2.2 board TC400P and a special module - the voice processing mezzanine TC400M. The Digium Wildcard TC400B board is split up to redesign codecs with high voice compression using additional additional resources of the Central Public Library, which would previously have been configured by the IP-PBX Asterisk software itself, reducing its productivity.
Asterisk programmatically converts the G.729a codec, under a new license, into any other codec, depending on the parameters of the origination and termination of the call, connects calls with different codecs Or it connects VoIP channels with TDM channels. Redesigning codecs is expensive to transfer to MIPS (millions of operations per second), and requires a large number of processor hours to complete these operations. In addition, the Digium Wildcard TC400B board not only separates the central processor from these tasks, allowing it to perform other operations or additional procedures, but also allows Asterisk to convert the G.723.1 codec into other things that were not possible before.
The Digium TC400B board reimplements the G.729a (8.0kbit/s) or G.723.1 (5.3kbit/s) codec for G.711 a /-law and for the same reason, G.711 a /-law for G.729a (8.0kbit / c) or G.723.1 (5.3kbit/s). The Digium Wildcard TC400B is available for 120 one-hour bidirectional transfers in G.729a or 92 in G.723.1. The Digium Wildcard TC400B does not require any additional license fees for these codecs or registration required when purchasing the Digium G.729a software codec.
