Digium TE412P (Wildcard TE412P) is a symbiosis between the market leader Digium Wildcard TE410P board and the new VPM450M Octasic echo attenuation module, which is based on a digital signal processing processor. The VPM450M module provides certification that satisfies all possible operators with an algorithm that is the standard for upgrading echo suppression systems. This new upgrade module is aligned with the VPM400M module and TE411P/TE406P boards. With the VPM400M module, the maximum echo muting capability is 16 ms per hour or 128 channels with a total of 128 channels. The new VPM450M module allows you to shorten the “tails” of the moon up to 128 ms or 1024 outputs with 128 channels (!) in E1 mode or with 96 channels in T1/J1 modes. Moreover, this module uses all the advantages of Octasic Voice Quality Enhancement technology to ensure wonderful sound quality on all channels.
Digium has packaged the TE412P board with various versions of the Asterisk IP-PBX server. Also, the open-source payment driver code allows developers to continue working with the hardware, creating powerful programs for professional solutions. The addition of the IP-PBX Asterisk server, as well as the Digium hardware, disrupts the new IP-telephony standards in the telecommunications world. From traditional PBXs to IP telephony gateways, solutions based on Digium products represent the evolution of telecommunications in a new world of global communications.
The TE412P supports standard telephony and data protocols, including Primary Rate ISDN voice (standard American and European standards), as well as PPP, Cisco, HDLC, and Frame Relay for data transmission.
The TE412P board supports only a PCI slot with a voltage of 3.3 V. This slot is essentially installed on all current motherboards and on 64-bit PCI architecture. The TE407P board is only compatible with a 5.0 PCI slot.
