The Cisco 7931G is a versatile IP phone designed to meet the communications needs of remote office workers, remote workers in manufacturing, and those who manage a stream of phone calls and require specific call management features. Dedicated hold, redial, and transfer keys make the phone easy to use in large offices. Mute keys and a backlit speakerphone provide a clear view of the status of what is happening during a call. The pixel display with active white backlighting makes call information easy to read, and support for Extensible Markup Language (XML) services adds the ability to use additional features. The Cisco 7931G IP phone offers data encryption for secure communications, as well as a choice of IEEE 802.3af Power over Ethernet (PoE) or an optional electrical adapter.
